A Bit About Us
Here at Karen's Safe Haven, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change and we're driven by our commitment to our Non-Profit Organisation

Like all things, this initiative started as a dream for Karen, a dream to break down the stigma surrounding mental health. The vision moved on to helping people needing mental health support. Through personal contacts, research and reaching out to people Karen's Safe Haven was born. This was mainly driven through Facebook and is now growing into so much more.

There is a fantastic team behind Karen, all wanting to to help this organisation, but more importantly, wanting to help people be themselves. All the facilitators are trained to help. Everyone is a volunteer and is working for this organisation because they want to. We all want to make this journey better for anyone needing the help

Hope Is Where the Heart Is
At Karen's Safe Haven we need to raise funds to keep going. We want to help. We want to continue to provide the services we currently do, which we can only continue to do with help and donations.
We are currently running sessions based in Northallerton, Thirsk & Richmond. Funds that are raised go towards paying for the venues for the group sessions, but there is so much more.

Helping people in desperate need
As time goes on and we raise more funds we can do even more, until then though we're quite limited on what we spend our funds on. Literally every pound does make a difference

Please give as generously as you can, to make a difference to those who need it. The link below will take you to our Go-Fund Me page
At Karen's Safe Haven, we strive to make our members feel safe and comfortable, via our website, Facebook page and at events. Our team work hard behind the scenes to make sure we can help as many people as possible with our services and hope to put on many fun-filled events to keep us going.
However, we will not tolerate abusive or inappropriate behaviour of any kind from the public, members or vendors we collaborate with.
Thanks,
Karen, Abby & John
